Man
is the battleground of a revolution;
within
him are extremely large numbers of microscopically small insurgents
struggling
mightily to expand their scope of power –
and
not just in him -- but the whole universe.
This
significant activity, though not publicly noted,
is
clearly, if unwittingly, reflected in man’s behavior,
in
that while he appears to be an irrepressible macroscopic expansionary force
ceaselessly striving to overcome the status quo of his own natural environment,
what
is really taking place is a microscopic revolution within him in which
the
neurons of his brain are tenaciously engaged in a relentless effort to
overcome
the present state of consciousness.
What
neurons have been attempting since the beginning of civilization on this
planet
is
nothing less than revolution, and indeed is obliquely responsible for same.
The
hubris (polite Greek synonym for stupidity) of man is in him seeing himself
as the originator of this drive within him to ever expand his range of
dominion,
not
only on his home turf, but even to worlds beyond,
when
proper investigation of the matter would clearly indicate that some other
-- unseen force and intelligence is behind this incessant expansionary
hunger,
and
that man is merely its medium.
Man
pictures his real history as having commenced when he became dissatisfied
with being at the whims of nature in finding food, and undertook the agricultural
revolution whereby – using his mind -- he overcame the status
quo of being a foraging creature, and settled down to a more comfortable
life as a farming one;
man
takes credit for this substantial and profitable change in the way he now
lives compared to previously,
but
what motivated him back then to ponder the existing situation,
and
develop tools and techniques that allowed him in essence to
subdue
the very forces of nature? -- the teeming, teeny
neurons in his brain:
they
were the instigators and the brains of the operation;
man
simply did the grunt work;
the
physical labor necessary to implement the neurons' plans.
Neurons
are the universe's true
revolutionists
in
that they are always looking at the larger rather than the smaller;
man,(who
appears to be a rebel only via his association with neurons as their lackey)
on
the other hand will just as quickly turn his attention to things smaller
than he is; neurons -- never.
(For
example): men study and fiddle around with things much smaller than
themselves on the cellular/neural level, while neurons only spend
their energy on things
larger
than themselves -- man, (foremost),
for
they must first completely overtake him (their native planet)
before
they can expand their control over his planet totally;
after
that they can (and are already beginning to) extend their grasp to worlds
beyond.
Neurons
as revolutionists are also in a league of their own in that they have managed
to keep their activity completely unknown to the status quo supporters
of the
territory
in which they live and operate -- man
(macroscopically
speaking);
no
other insurgency in the history of this planet has been able to
accomplish
such a feat -- none have ever even contemplated its possibility.
Think
about it:
a
revolution has been going on uninterrupted in a place for many thousands
of years without the nominal ruling power having any suspicion thereof
--
can
man really be so dense?........or can neurons be that clever?
Neurons,
in practice, have a slave labor force which toils enthusiastically
and
without complaint --
never
realizing that its efforts are on another’s behalf -- and even should
they:
on
what righteous basis could they complain? –
in
light of the incomparable benefits they have enjoyed from the arrangement.
By
any definition, neurons are a singular, even ferocious expansionary force,
and
indeed
-- unstoppable,
in
that even when their planet (a man) is destroyed (dies), they continue
to live
(being
that at the elementary level neither cells nor atoms ever perish),
and
a man with that certain-hunger
to investigate-&-comprehend goes about his work crippled if he does
not keep this in his mind,
(those
with that hunger having non standard neurons which allows them to hold
such normally excluded information in their neurally controlled
mind),
and
how this comes to most specifically bear on those seeking to
get
to the bottom of things is that neurons, seemingly as a kind of hobby,
also
have men engaged in a particular part time activity:
the
attempt, (from men’s point of view), to -- understand
themselves,
which
accounts in part for men, (as opposed to neurons),
studying
things smaller than themselves (to wit): neurons,
something
they either can not or will not do for themselves.
(Breathtaking, is it not, in its audacity!)
So
remember: every time you
are
trying to understand yourself,
you
are actually engaged in an activity on someone else’s behalf:
neurons wanting to understand themselves.
Think
about it some more: you,
a sensation composed of neurons,
making
you
try to do something for them that they cannot do for themselves!
What kind of chump romp is that?!
............(Not to mention all of the fun it brings!)
