REAL NEWS FROM AROUND THE REAL WORLD
Those
few-of-the-few with an intense form of the fever
should
consider a certain matter even more deeply than you may have previously,
to
wit that: every time you read, or listen to another human’s words and ideas
you
have put the life of your consciousness completely in their hands
and
under their guidance;
you
have turned your mind over to them totally.
(Of
course that is precisely ordinary people’s aim.)
***
Every
day life gives every person an unrecognized test -- just to keep
them on their toes, and they never realize that this is what causes them
to stay in that condition.
***
At
any given moment your conception of reality is based either on the turning
of the external world or of your internal one.
***
There
is an illness that cannot be cured unless you are aware of it;
the
illness has no cure -- but -- unless you are aware of
it and struggle to cure it,
you
will never be relieved there from --
and in a fashion those still ill could never imagine.
***
Everyone
knows that being in a state of drunkenness can save a man from injury should
he trip and fall; for he does not even realize that he has fallen,
and
thus does not become stiff and resistant.
How
much greater protection would he enjoy if he were in a
heightened state of understanding?
***
Life
surreptitiously records everything you say aloud in private,
(some
believe it does so your thoughts also...................................
but who knows?!)
***
Let’s
clear this up: a found dog makes himself readily at home in his new location
because his previous allegiance was not to his master,
but
to the territory where he resided,
(same
with the passing I’s which make up your so-called personality).
***
One
man finally said to his special friend – his inner twin:
“You
do know that you’re half nuts don’t you?!”
“Yeah, I just don’t know which half.”
***
Only
the few have an actual target in life,
and
to make the sport more interesting,
the
bulls eye turns out to be the only arrow available.
***
A
man was asked: “Do you have respect for anything?!”
“Yes.”
“What?”
“Whatever I do not speak of.”
***
It
takes a true dullard to have nothing better to do than criticize dullards.
***
Here
is that entrant question regarding, freedom-of-will fully
covered for those with cleaned out heads and thus, clear hearing:
That
which you cannot help from doing -- you do,
and
that which you can help from doing -- you don’t do.
***
One
man would let no one live with him but relatives --
ones
who were stupid, clumsy and inattentive;
thus
over the years did his house flourish and become hip.
***
Much
e-mail is of the tenor:
“Do
more stories about mind, thought & consciousness” –
har har! --
but seriously:
would
it not be nice if talking about weight, aging, money, etc
would
aid in expanding one’s understanding.
***
***
People
will quote ideas from revealed sources which they agree with and wish to
support, but for which they do not want to appear responsible......
.....'cause no one IS responsible.
***
Trying
to wake up is like talking about life behind its back.
***
One
guy wanted to be a role model -- for himself.
***
No
one who wants to talk to you can do you any good. (Rely on that if
nothing else. Oh yeah, and do
not exclude your relatives from this.)
***
A
man’s lack of respect for a thing is revealed by his mentioning of it.
***
Everyone
plays right into everyone else’s hands,
and
everyone else plays right into life’s hands.
***
One
man was a suspect in his own disappearance.
***
The
archery of the few is fascinating in that they are faced with having
a
thousand targets and only one arrow;
the
saving grace of the situation is that the arrow itself turns out to be
the one correct target.
***
Re
things you cannot hold: criticism is worse than useless -- it is
imaginarily helpful.
***
Maxims
concerning the nature of ordinary men are as exciting & meaningful
as
counting worms.
***
One
method is: tear stuff apart & put it back together.
***
The
Mental-Vocal Life of Most Defined: Sliding
effortlessly & uselessly through,
on
the grease of clichés & other familiar phrases.
***
The
Secret
is not precise enough to be described --- wait, let this be rephrased:
The
Secret
is too
precise to be described. (Okay, carry forward.)
(And finally):
the
so called end of
anything is simply its rearrangement.
(Now you can definitely
move on.)

Attempting
to wake up without ever realizing what you're doing is like trying to fix
a radio by fiddling with the programs.
