THE FLOW
There is a certain flow in life with which consciousness is out of synch;
this is ordinary men’s normal condition,
and is also the cause of what the few call, being asleep.

There is a certain flow in life which runs neither faster nor slower than man;
a flow that you are unaware of unless you are aware of it –
then you and the flow move precisely together,
and you are no longer asleep, in consciousness:
so perhaps you do not actually get in synch with the flow  --   but with yourself.

THE PAY OFFS OF HELPFUL UP STARTS AND DOWN ONES
There was once a building with three floors, and those who lived on the top,
and those who lived on the bottom began to feel sorry for the man who
lived in the middle, so they started to tear away his ceiling from the top,
and his floor from the bottom
so that he would no longer be trapped in between them,
and while doing this to help him  --  his floor collapsed and he was killed.
What a terrific moral & inspiration, eh kids?!

Even though thought be consciousness’ highest achievement,
from one perspective it is an impediment to its clearest possible sight.

already exists and can also make something out of nothing.
One of these talents is worth more to some people than to others.

“Okay, so, ‘trying-to-wake-up’ is like consciousness trying to understand  itself,
and the problem is: what does consciousness have besides it itself
to understand with  --   right?”
       “Right.”
“So, all attempts to ‘wake up’ are really efforts to trick consciousness into doing something it can not ordinarily do  --   right?”
       “Right.”
“Okay, then let me ask this: what do you have to trick consciousness with other than….”
       “Hold it right there smart ass….”

In every bad thing that happens to man, gravity is some how involved.
There is nothing else in the entire universe but gravity about which it can be said that
in every single instance wherein something bad happens to men  --  it is involved.

                      Is there some metaphorical implication winking at you in this?

                                         Fact: reality is the ultimate metaphor.

as you are at the non conscious level
you would be fully as conscious as a man can be, (aka: Enlightened).

--  nor do men want to hear what it would have to say.

YET ANOTHER SHOT AT THAT STRANGE BIRD
A father said to a son: “He who says that man is dreaming
must himself be in a dream to say such a thing  --
and I too must be in a dream to say this to you.

Only full fledged chickens do not imagine they are eggs;
that is the problem with just wanting to wake up:
you will remain but an egg all of your life.

Success counts no where in life --  save this endeavor;
in fact, anywhere else in life the idea of success or failure is without meaning  --
only in this-activity does it matter,
but for a reason that is beyond the normal concept of success --
you either do it, or you don’t;
same as how a chicken hawk either flies and is a chicken hawk,
or else he does not and is simply a pedestrian with feathers.

                        Don’t let this happen to you my boy; strip yourself bare & fly.”
