             STORIES FROM BOTH IN HERE AND OUT THERE

A man in a house with his brother said to him:
“Either you go and I will stay, or I will go and you stay.  Which will it be?”
    “No, which can it be?” corrected the other,
“No,” replied the man, “There is no such thing as a correction in life.

                                          Now answer my question.”

There is a horse that seems not to fit a cart,
or else the cart does not match the horse,
and there is a roadway that the horse seems not to follow,
and when it does not follow this road, a man is said to be lost & asleep.

    The roadway is the mind.

     ......(Oh, so too is the horse & cart.)

Making a mistake should not give a man any more pleasure than does being correct;
if you are not immune to the routine bullshit of life you are a part thereof.
A man who knows-what-is-going-on is not right nor is he ever wrong –
he just knows what’s going on --  that’s all.

In a real man, neither right or wrong prevails;
neither good nor evil; neither truth nor error,
in a real man -- nothing prevails  --  which is what allows him to be real.

Adding-to life is not how you come to understanding;
doing so takes you further there from.

 Only the blind believe that something is missing.

One man says: “If all of my mind was as agreeable and sharp as some of my mind, then all of my mind would be doing o-kay.”

Thought and the second reality it produces is to physical reality as
pornography is to fucking; they both exist........................................for what that’s worth.

One guy’s latest speculation is that those who work to awaken are born with a genetic propensity to Alzheimer's gradual mental deterioration,
and doing this is their unwitting struggle there against.

There is but one thing that can be validly said regarding what the truth is:
The truth is what is --  and nothing is apart from what is.

He who knows this  --  down to his marrow  --   has nothing left to learn.

Fish turn themselves totally over to the water --
thus never lose touch with the rhythm of life;
civilized men too could turn themselves over to the tempo --
-- but then they would not be merely men --
    --  they would be enlightened  --   but re uncivilized men.

The one infallible sign of human insanity is: A desire to help life out.

Only a man who understands that he knows nothing
knows whether what he knows is correct or not.
.......(“Yeah! – the rest of you bums are just guessing!”)

Being human has no stopping point.

The land of clarity is a place without gravity:
everything there IS gravity.

A true description of what is behind men’s desire to, wake up & achieve enlightenment does not and cannot exist,
and any who say otherwise merely describe their own ignorance.

If a true description of the motivation for this existed
then the thing itself would exist  --  along with all of its apparent barriers.

Awakening exists only for those who have  lost their taste for hearing it described.

The trouble with knowledge is that you can keep making it up forever.

As he watched a tv show/movie/read-a-book, a man thought: “Who writes this tripe?” --  then thought: “ Who watches this tripe?”  --   then realized: “The same people!”  --
              and suddenly the secret revealed itself and he awoke from the dream.

You either get it or you don’t,
and those who are unsure of whether they do or not
are closer to it than those who are convinced they already do.

After having terminated a lengthy association with a man he had believed to be awake, he ran into him years later and accusatorily said to him:
Why did I not wake up?” and the man replied:
      “I never told you to stop.”

Being human is being a great transformer:
transforming dreams into reality; reality into dreams.

The transformations only stop if you stop.
