Humans
have two realities: one which physically means something,
and
another that has no meaning other than that which
your
thoughts give to it;
yet
in spite of that clearly visible fact, in many, many instances
men
tend to attribute to the latter the greater import.
A
man with true understanding has no personal views -- unless you count
those concerning his survival -- which after all are not, “personal”
but
the same as everyone else’s.
Urging
others to improve themselves -- causes them to hate themselves.
Is
it prudent to try to change something you do not fully understand?
Anyone
who believes that anything is serious
is
an: idiot, fool, imbecile, moron, normal.
Everybody
is on something -- and only he who is not knows what
it is.
That
DJs are celebs says all concerning ordinary men’s concept of talent --
and
even intelligence, since plagiarists & parasites
are
accepted as thinkers IF they have the right attitude and style.
All
words are fiction -- it’s all fiction -- everything
is fiction -- (except of course,
what
you can touch....................................but no one is confused
about that, right?!)
If
you have reached a place where you can’t tell whether
you’re
coming or going -- you’re going.
(Keep it up!)
There
was once a plane that would never land.
There
is a rhythm to distraction and a rhythm to clear sight;
and
a winding road is not the path to the goal.
Another
acid difference between ordinary thought and the freshened-up
variety
is that the former takes the words: “The world is big enough for everybody”
to be a philosophical reflection rather than a
scientific
observation.
Men’s
lives are filled with such examples.
One
world had an army & a navy protecting it;
the
army did all of the unheralded grunt work,
while
the navy had the bands, fancy uniforms and dress parades.
The world had no seas.
Once
a man sees for himself what is going on, he only wants one thing after
that --
-- except he doesn’t know what it is.
Only
those smarter than you will tell you how smart you are;
those
dumber are the ones who tell you you are dumb.
Living
by rules holds civilizations together, and individuals back.
For
forty years one man wrote about the human condition, only to eventually
realize that he was one.
One
Of The Rules Of The Bright Road:
Have
a baby a day -- then abandon it.
Everyone
rides a rhino carrying a macaw in their hand.;
those
seeking a more meaningful ride at first try to work with the bird;
then
with increased awareness, realize that the beast is the answer.
Trying
to train a rhino causes nothing but grief to both beast & trainer,
okay,
to just the trainer --
........assuming
the beast isn’t stupid enough to pay him any attention.
A
planet being constantly struck by lightning
physically
acknowledges the fact – but does not seek meaning therein.
Can you not be as swift as a planet.

Important Reminder
and Warning:
Two days ago
it was discovered that over the last eighteen months in which I have been
writing this
daily feature, someone gained access to my web page,
and has been
periodically pulling down what I wrote and posted for that day,
and rewriting
it to say just the reverse of what was originally said,
then putting
it back on site as though it was the day’s real News;
the problem is
that we cannot tell on which days this occurred.
Do those of you who really
want to realize the truth of things for yourself understand that tigers
speak a secret language which is valid only to other tigers.
A father said to a son: "I do not mind helping annoy you out of your slumber as long as you remember that is its purpose."
