Totally Astounding Matters That Men Are Not Normally Allowed To Notice:
Life
is alive.
No
one knows what they will think or say next.
In
life, everything is either: doing or story-telling.
In
re: environment vs heredity:
everyone
else’s heredity is your environment and vice versa.
There
is a CertainQuirk
in human life.
Life
is alive.

Humans
spend more money on entertainment than they do food or shelter,
and
this speaks not of movies, books, video games, sports or theme parks,
their
quality or content -- but of man’s mind,
and
the desire – so strong – of their neural dog to
chase after other people’s cars
that
they will pay for the privilege.

Being
of ordinary consciousness (and asleep) is like being in a busy train station
where
everyone is always scrambling after their particular train;
those
wanting to awaken are searching for a mystery train
that
will take them away from the station’s turmoil,
while
those who have realized what is going on (and are awake)
sit
calmly amidst all of this.

Son-of: “Who told that mutherfucker he is a singer:”
Mind
has no source of instruction but itself.
To
keep from facing this fact,
in
the Mediterranean, men came up with the voices of gods,
in
the Far East, messages from ancestors,
and
in the Indus Valley, echoes from previous lives.
Only the few live nakedly in the arms of this reality:
Mind has no source of instruction but itself.

Every
realization you get on your own is worth a thousand from someone else.

Knowing
what is going on and not caring what is going on are two different things
--
-- but no one understands how so.

By
story-telling do men's brains become conscious;
by
story-telling do men become civilized;
by
story-telling do men take control of their physical world;
by
story-telling do men come to believe they have such over their inner one.
Compared
to all other creatures:
by
story-telling does man wake-up from the animal dream,
and
then go to sleep mortally.
By
story-telling -- impossible to hear -- do the
few secretly slip out of bed.

The
axis mundi of everyone is the place within them that might ask:
“Where is
my axis mundi?”

"The Distinguishing Mark Of Man" -- Update:
What
distinguishes man from every other creature is his desire to resist his
desires.

The FreeMan
can move about in
TheCity
without being moved by
it.

Hell
for the few would be: Feeling-sorry-for-their-self.......................(that
and stress).
* * *
Life is what happens -- waking-up is what you
try to do about it -- internally.

The
difference between an ordinary man and one-who-knows is that
while
the former may realize that CertainQuirk
in human life,
he
is disturbed by it, and wants others to see it too and help him stop it,
while the latter knows better.

A
man with a philosophy to live by -- and that he wants to teach
to others --
is a prisoner outside a cell.
* * *
The
enlightened man does not (as commonly alleged):
“Enjoy
the sorrows of life” -- he merely does not suffer over
them.
* * *
A
man raps rhetorically:
“What
is the difference between acting totally as if you are awake and being
awake? Who would know the difference but you? --
and
if you have not tried it -- are you sure that even you could
tell any difference?!"
* * *
Anyone
who feels the need to describe the kind of person they are --
is not much of a person.
* * *
Just
because you can think that you are thinking outside the system
does
not mean that you are
outside the system.
* * *
The
kind of thing that -- to-watch-what-it-is-doing
-- must stop
what it is doing.
Struggling to awaken is stressful
-- being
awake is notful.
