When you understand what's going on it’s surprising the amount of what men call crap you can easily ignore.

Your being alive is Life's attempt to change.

Query: Why, in their own best self-interest, do not men consistently praise those
with whom they have a significant relationship?
Answer: Because their consciousness lives in a fog of self-delusion regarding their own importance.

 “Being alive is your key to change.”
    “Aw, I knew that.,”
 “I’m sure you did, but men never think about it until they’re dead    --   if then.,”

Without log-rolling men could not survive life on the frontier of their second reality.

All worry comes from collective thinking;
as long as you are thinking what everyone else is thinking, you will be worried.

Man’s connection to second reality is verbal  --  compared to actual.

From self-reference springs all psychological fears.

The nervous-system-rebel is not what he is merely for the sake of rebellion --
but even if he were  –  so what.

The certain-man eschews all conventional wisdom simply on the basis that
it comes from man’s collective thinking.

Self-reference is neurons' attempt to share the spotlight with hormones.

All points of view and opinions are merely individual shares of collective thinking.

Only guess work interests an ordinary mind.

The man trying to crack-the-case has got to think in a way that is not self-referential;
the thought needed for this job cannot be held down by the gravity of the collective variety.

All that ordinary men know of things intangible is stuff they have made up  –
a fact of which they are not conscious.

Off The Inner Autobahn.
The rebel’s form of anything is always stripped down and jacked up.

In the city, in order to be any kind of guy you have to say what kind of guy you are;
to be awake doesn’t require you say anything.
    (“You’re being funny, right!?”)

The impact men say they experience from historical events is always after-the-fact because the experience is collective and not individual;
only the individual lives in the now and enjoys the full benefits of its impact.

People call for caviar  –  but will settle for peanuts.

To think individually and creatively is to be forging ahead;
collective thinking is always stuck where it is.

The only things the certain-man needs to know is stuff he has knowingly made up.

All ordinary dreams of an improved life are but a further feeding of second reality nightmares.

For the neural rebel: where you are is where you think you are;
only the nervous-system-explorer can identify his universe;
ordinary men at best can name their neighborhood (or culture).

Everyone is driven to stay part of the pack  –  and complain about it;
only he who knows-what’s-going-on can be happy to be free.

To be an expert in second reality affairs you have to ignore the obvious.

The more you pursue ancillary sources the further you stray from the original
and creative  –  and thus feel forever lost inside.

The more you understand  –  the less impressed you are.

Concern over whether what happens to you in life is preordained or not is a thorough waste of time, but the fact that your thoughts & feelings in reaction thereto ARE! --
should keep you awake at night.

The more you understand  –  the less impressed you are.
    “With what in particular, may I ask?”
Yourself, for one thing.

If the certain-man does speak he tries to be as direct, brief, yet as eloquent
as is possible.

Those who say: “We will have another, better life after death,” are those who feel
they cannot get life right this time around.
    (“Pa pa: how do you know if you got-it-right?
“Nobody knows.”
    “But those aligned with spiritual causes all say they have a way to
     make such a judgment.”
“Of that I’m aware  –  but I answered your question.”)

In that man’s consciousness is primed to perceive a binary based reality,
trying to awaken could be called The Third Approach; forever seeking to see possibilities beyond the obvious & immediate either/or set-up
that your automatic thinking continually trots out.

Anything that causes intangible anguish, no matter how cloaked in spiritual terms,
is garbage from a junk food restaurant.

In regards to man’s cultural/spiritual second-reality: how can thought, the source of the reality, which arranged everything in it, now not be able to describe or understand how things there are arranged?
Forget about the so-called Classical metaphysical conundrums, this is the one question that men with normal consciousness cannot confront; their mental processes are literally not programmed to allow them to even look into the matter,
much less tolerate the info that could arise there from.
Only a man who personally sees how things are arranged can describe how
things are arranged (but that does not necessarily mean you will be able to hear it).

What men refer to as information is equivalent to food,
and Life grows through man’s ever expanding ability to accept & process new food;
just what the nervous-system-rebel should be doing for his self individually.

When ordinary people pursue the interests natural to them, they are but seeking their routine nourishment, with little concern for any actual new food; thus at best:
red circuit men will seek out only new sports; yellow circuit men, new books,
and blue circuit men, new artistic fads and ways to suffer, and soon all still-open synapses are connected to the old, established neural network of recycled thoughts  --  and low level boredom settles back in.
If you do not personally keep yourself fresh, inner stagnation is your way of life
and not to be unduly depressing, but the older you get, the worse it gets,
until you may at least get over religion in that you become so blasé and bitter
that you hope there IS no life after this one.
You miss a sight full if you do not allow yourself to see how Life has arranged things so that within the world of human consciousness (its best work & hope for the future) there is space for every possibility that consciousness can conceive of,
no matter how preposterous or outrageous, no matter how upbeat or discouraging;
men do not write the wide ranging array of novels on the shelves –
their consciousness lives them.

How strangely satisfying it is to ordinary men to voice opposition to the new,
and how fresh and surprising it is to be an outlet for it.
Die with your old comfortable boots on, or go out running down the road out of town, barefooted.

What ordinary men call rebellion is moving the bed in their cell from where the authorities had placed it.

Though humanity collectively continues to grow, individuals are programmed for stagnation  --  particularly, inner.

Any who doubt the power of the past, consider this: Why are all of those who human history lauds as great always dead?

Anything that man’s mind is driven to say exists, exists, and this includes things about which there may be wide spread dispute regarding their existence,  but this debate is part OF their existence.

There is the allure of the new; the grip of the familiar, and everything else,
and that’s where the secret lies, in everything else  –  The Third Approach.
(If, just for fun, the certain-man had a motto it could be this:
“If it’s binary  –  it’s bad” –  or if that sounds a bit moralistic:
“If it’s binary  –  it’s bullshit.”)

When someone from another world heard an earthly poet say that he:
“Feels with ten fingers and one heart,” he thought: “How strange:
I feel with one finger and ten hearts.”    Now that my friends, is diversification!

To awaken you must be both slower and faster (you figure it out).
