Just on the Other Side of the World
is a place where all proverbs are manufactured--
and just down the road from there
is a place where they are mangled--
for use by true wordsmiths.

Mental activity is part of your environment;
and yours, mine. Thus if you solicit my opinion of your ideas, you are seeking to gauge your environment's reaction thereto.

How It Is:
When you still think that there is some special, far away track or method required to achieve the goal:
They told one man that he needed glasses and he asked if he could wear a hearing aid instead, and they said,
"Okay." (and on like that....)

 

 

A Day In The Life:
The brain decides that it's asleep,
The brain decides it should awake,
The brain gets frustrated in the effort,
and mad at itself for failing,
The brain sees that it is flailing....
Hey, who else has The brain got
to push around--'cept itself?
