Reminder:
There is the mind-and-thinking and then there is consciousness.
One seems to begin inside of the other, then one appears to become captive of the other. What people such as you attempt to do is to set up a new arrangement.
Unsolicited Advice for a Wednesday:
Don't waste consciousness on complaining & singing
these are also jobs for the mind.
Without the mind no consciousness;
nothing can distract consciousness but the mind.
You must first free yourself from the collective's thinking,
then from your own.
An Analogous Midweek Telephone Tip:
The mind's design is to want to talk,
but don't speak into consciousness.
The mind searches for an ultimate answer
as does a lemming for the sea.
Two Things: There is
the mind and thinking,
consciousness and point-blankness.
Without the cats there are no birds,
without the brain there is no mind,
but that, dear humans, is still not necessarily the end of it.
While dichotomies run in the family of the mind
consciousness just runs.
The mind's dream of a future paradise is in fact its memory of the barrenness of initial consciousness.
The mind can be clever
consciousness, wise.
When seen from a space ship:
Consciousness is to the mind
as the mind is to the brain;
as birds are to cats;
as neurons are to hormones;
and what more need be said!?
Only the mind can "drive you crazy"
not consciousness.
