The disability or, at least, disinclination
of ordinary minds to see the obvious
is what keeps them both running and ordinary (not magic)

And life finally asked one guy: "Okay -- what'll it be, do you want to be sane, or enlightened?"
And the guy thought about it for a while, then asked: "Okay -- which produces the most stress?"

Wintry Weather Questions:
Is There A Neural Need For Electric Blankets?
Who, with libraries, needs to think?
And who, with galleries, needs to paint?
And who, with fine mind, quite equal to any,
needs worry himself about such as this?

(Another comforter for the chilly beds of common brains.)

A Direct Man's Way To Istanbul:
Investigate and talk about every other place on the planet but there -- and there you are!

Legend says there was once a mystery school
hidden deep inside an obscure, inaccessible mountain range,
and that all who sought entry thereto, and knowledge therefrom,
were thrown from its highest peak.

It is not for reasons insignificant
that lions, wolves, and ordinary men feel so deeply
patriotic and territorially defensive.
All-in-all: 'Tis proper for most to stay where they are.

The Perception Of Persecution Unclothed In Another Psychological Reality:
One man finally concluded: "If there is a conspiracy against me, then I'm heading it
and if I'm heading it, life put me up to it.
"

Some dead people were talking and one of them asked the others:
"Do you ever feel guilty about not being alive?"

After a considerable passage of time, and a great deal of effort,
one man was able to locate a real, living mystic,
and, after lengthy and complex negotiations,
managed to arrange a meeting with him,
and, once presented to the wise one, the man asked this question:
"Is it difficult to become enlightened without going crazy?"
And the mystic replied: "Yeah...I guess."
