Talk-of-the-Mystical Redux

Each man who learns The Secret,
should he decide to talk about it,
must, as it were,
invent his own new language to attempt same -- but,
in that an entirely new tongue would be understood by no one if used exclusively,
he must take the words and ideas already available
and filter them through the prism of his new knowledge.
Thus it is that talk-of-the-mystical can sound both familiar
yet, somehow, foreign.

There is one strain of myths which say that evil will ultimately overcome good, and that the only act of heroism to which a man can aspire is by his continuing to resist evil even though he knows he faces certain defeat, and a more alert man, from such a notion, might derive a lesson regarding the mind and its natural attitude toward what it perceives to be the struggle between ignorance and understanding.

As part of his continuing "at-home education," one father gave his son this psychological insight:
"A man with convictions has a stick up his ass."
And the lad smiled his appreciation, adding the comment: "And I assume you are drawing a distinction between knowledge and convictions."
"Maybe."

Another Way You Might Be Able To Identify A Real Mystic:
He might be the kind of person who learned more from his dog
than he did all the world's mystical books....(Might.)

A common, inner message of all heroic myths is that,
although by no amount of wisdom, strength, goodness,
or good deeds can man save himself from death,
he can, from a dishonorable life.

Pertinent to the laws of physics and the stratospheric arrangement inherent in human thought processes, one man offers up his take on the matter, "Remember," says he,
"as your mind is engaged in its normal operations, that both hot air and bullshit rises."
...If he be on to something, then reconsider your overview of man's collective intellectual standing.

We received this letter:
"For years I had terrible headaches, and felt lost and uncertain -- that is,
I thought I did, until I started reading your News!
